“It is a great privilege for me to serve as the first Blaser Family Endowed Executive Director. Without [the support from] Mitch, many of these accomplishments and advancements would not be possible.”
– Gil Yancey, Blaser Family Endowed Executive Director
Mitch Blaser, BBA ’73, P ’07, ’10, made a $1.2 million gift to support the F. David Fowler Career Center at GW’s School of Business. The charitable lead trust gift provides current-use support of priority initiatives and programs and creates the Blaser Family Endowed Executive Director position. Mitch, who has chaired both GW’s School of Business Board of Advisors and the Parents Council, chose to direct his gift toward the endowed director position after he interviewed candidates for the position.
“I had the privilege of interviewing and recommending the hiring of Gil Yancey, and I believe that his leadership and the leadership of those who follow him is vital to the success of the Career Center.”
